Wind deflectors

Has anyone fitted the wind deflectors that fit in the channels in the side windows?
I wondered if they make any difference to wind noise? Window shut or open...

Good question. I haven't fitted any (yet) but look forward to the answer. Been thinking about it for summer driving.

I fitted deflectors 2,5 years ago.

I've had them on my Mk2 for a couple of years - genuine Pug ones.

They don't make any more noise when the windows are closed or open. The benefit is that you can drive with the window down about 2" and not get any draught or, if it's raining, water blowing in.

i have them, no real noise difference, but great to have windows open a little bit with no rain dripping in. Also if camping in van to have window open to let air in , and from outside mine are tinted so doesnt look like window open , so doesnt raise suspicion and tempt crook.
Well worth it, I only wish they sttod out more, eg wider to look more impressive.
