Is it OK to fit a manual passenger side replacement wing mirror in place of an electric one by just leaving the electrical conector disconnected, I never use the electrical adjustment and the manual ones are much cheaper.

That's what I did about 5 years ago and never been a problem although the heated bit also no longer defrosts with the rear heated window turned on.

I've attached a couple of pictures. One shows the white plug end with five wires.
The other shows the heater terminals (tan and black pair).
Does it tally with what you've seen?

Yes, those are the glass heating wires. It'll have the white plug as pictured above.
