faulty Instrument Cluster on 1.9d Berlingo Multispace Forte (Estate)

Wink
X REG Citroen Berlingo Multispace Forte (Estate)

Just need too know if i can just swap over the Instrument Cluster?

Did some searches on ebay today.
Just need to know if this the best route too fixing speedo and rev counter doing weird stuff.

Also found places on ebay and internet that seem to charge a big amount for fixing the electrically problem within the current cluster, this options not the best cos puts the vehicle off the road but could be cheaper in the long run if having loads of electrically faults?

What should I do about the mileage on the secondhand cluster?
Will it need to programmed to marry up with my vehicle?
Maybe I should talk to main dealer but not sure to trust them?

Hi Mark, I had the instrument cluster repaired on my last vehicle ( Mercedes V280 ) and the company I used loaned me a replacement cluster so that I wasn't off the road, they sent me the replacement first and I sent them my set in the same packaging. The service was very prompt and the repairs were guaranteed, unfortunatley I can't remember the name of the company and as I have sold the car the paper work went with it. I do know that they were in Great Yarmouth and If I can find out who they are I'll post it on here.

Doc..

If you use a second hand part then the ECU will take and display whichever was the HIGHEST of the two
