Andre why cant we have an auto immage resize in garage section? make it easy for me to post pics....please.

Yeh its a good point. Don't even bother looking at j90xxx's pics yet, they are 'uuuge.

Ill try to get the forum resizer we have over to there tonight.

I mean auto image resizer so when I imput my pics, which I am told are tooooo large, they automatically resize to be acceptable.Is that possible?

I think it will be because the file size is above 500kb.

You can try the following:

Right click the picture you want to add, and click "Open With" and pan across to "Paint".

Then you can do one of two things once it has opened in paint.

(1) Just go ahead and click "Save As" from the File Menu, and just save it has a .jpg file (select from drop down menu) [This should be enough].


(2) Alternatively, you can find 'Resize Image' and just reduce the size to say 80-90%.

You can of course do both to make the file even smaller.

Have you tried photobucket?

It is very simple to upload photos using it, but also very easy to edit, resize and then link to, or upload here

I use Imgur hosting site,it's free and it has a drop down box where you can choose an option for forums.
Saves all that messing about with Paint.

Imgur.com is the best by far. Garage pictures do resize and appear in a pop up box now, any images that are posted in threads/posts are resized automatically too.
