now all elecs to engine ok no hazard lights when ignition on but buzing noise
from pump if i prime it the noise gets quieter do these systems need bleeding ?

Also there is 3 wires to cut off switch i have bridged the 2 end ones
left the center wire free is this correct or does the center need to be connected.

Does the engine run? Did you find the inertia switch?

i did find inertia switch it was dangling under car it was faulty
so replaced it now all elecs to engine now working. But low pressure
pump the one built in to the high pressure pump is making a loud buzzing noise even with ignition off and no fuel to fuel rail.

quick update reset BSI now no noise from pump injectors getting a pulse on cranking
but battery gone flat will charge it up and let you know the outcome.

Turns over fast will fire on easy start but will not run
alot of air bubbles coming through diesel lines.

ie. Delivery pressure, Most likely air in pump, try turning engine over while squeezing priming bulb.
Check the 3 items related to this for loose wires etc.

1277 - HP deactivation valve.
1322 - HP regulator.
1321 - HP sensor.

I have exactly the same problem.bought 2.0hdi multispace mid dec.with blown turbo.on purchase it ran fine just smoked.have since replaced turbo.after putting it all together went for start up.it started ran for 20 secs say then cut out.tried again ran for 10 secs cut out.has since refused to fire at all.siemens system.will fire on easy start.key light not illuminating so presume is reading ok.have performed all checks in this thread.only fault found was only getting 11.5 volt feed to inertia switch.anyway before any testing if you put the ignition on injector no2 from timing belt cover buzzed constantly.unless you disconnected it.the multifunction relay or the ecu.i have since fitted a fused feed to inertia switch.now with ign on.no buzzing.but still no start.

Should of added mines a 2002 as well.and when i first saw this thread i could look at rustcrats wiring diagrams but now cant see or access them at all.
