Might be the same, but on MK2 it's on the right hand side of the boot. The panel comes off and the jack is behind it...

The right hand side as you look at the car from the back. There should be some plastic retaining clips that you turn and then you can remove the panel. You have to half turn them first if it's the same set up.

Look under either the passengers or drivers seat, there is a bit of carpet that lifts out and it will be under there. Mine is under the passengers seat.
You need to look from behind the seat.

cheers guys

I have looked in all ur suggested places and still no jack or tools there's an empty compartment under the drivers seat I assume this is where the jack should be. Will have to ring the dealership and get them to order one in so much for the sixty point check they do eh.

Yes, thats where it should be with a clip in cover. Make sure you get whole kit, scissor jack & plastic roll with wheel brace & long right angled torx driver for removing fog light if you have to change it.
