internal roof bars

hi,iv'e just bought a 2008 berlingo xtr and cant seem to source any internal roof bars.does anyone know where you can get them without paying a fortune or know something else you can use?

There was a thread on here a long time ago where a member made them from chrome wardrobe rails. That was in an M59 I think but you may be able to adapt the idea.

im amazed you cant get them of ebay and other similar sites,i dont think there worth what the main dealers asking..Sad

A bit of threaded bar with a bolt and washer on each end would work if you ask me. The rear load/net dog guard utilises the same mounting points and it isn't much more complicated than that.

So you can carry long loads out of the way the load area I guess, I do a similar trick with my 6ft steps..Hook the front onto the cabin shelf and hold the rear up with a bungie cord.

Didnt we see the one chap put one in to carry his radio-control plane wings?
