Seems perkyer and mpg down from 44ish to 36 mpg
cratch: May be more, moister airflow / leaner mix which is being compensated for by the ECU putting in more fuel? (Of course this could be complete rubbish! But if you put straight through air filters (K&Ns) on some bikes they run too lean and can damage pistons etc.)

Turbo and air flow dynamics and your MAF being bypassed to a certain degree.
They spend time & money designing an efficient and quiet inlet tract in the space allowed that will feed the air to the turbo in the most efficient flow .
I'm no expert on this but after spending some time studying various inlet manifolds for the old A series engine I realised there was quite a lot to this business. Just as the filter housing looks like just a box, but some work has gone into it.
Ah I should have thought of it. Id say you hit The nail on the head with the MAF sensor.
