pollen filter
hi the airflow on my car is very weak. when i use my demisters and heater theres not much of a air flow at the air pass through the pollen filter for all air flow including air con.if so it could be very dirty .ill be fitting a new one this week. thanks.
It does sound as though the filter is blocked.Make sure the scuttle is not full of leaves & crap.Confusedalut:

ok ron will do.
hi i removed the pollen filter today,it was pretty claged up havent fitted a new one yet but what a differance lots of blow now. i looked at other threads on how to get the filter out and it looked like you just had to slide a panel across and hook the filter out.....well mine was nothing like that it had 3 screws holding the cover on once removed the cover pulls off then you can slide the filter out.
How many miles has it done? Mine has covered 36,000m & air flow is still good.I will change it next spring.

Removal allows muck to accumulate against the aircon evaporator or heater core, breeding mould whose spores you then breathe. If anyone in your travelling party has lung problems then it's sensible to look after the car's HVAC system.
ron its done 112000 i recon it was in there from new right state.

addo the wife has lung problems so i better get a new filter fitted then. thanks.
