Did my 98 Blingo last year. Only problem was the amount of bleeding at the filter and Lucas injector pump nipples I had to do after fitting the filter. Even although the air bubbles had stopped I had to keep bleeding until the sodding thing started. Thank goodness for the rubber priming bulb thing. Good luck!

Hi Tony L If your fuel filter housing is like my 2002 model and I think it is, it's easy to change.
Make sure you put a rag under the filter housing to catch any spillage. Put a bit of rubber tube on the drain cock on the bottom of the housing and drain out fuel. Undo the cover clip and remove old filter. Clean inside the housing with a bit of kitchen roll. Install new filter and pump fuel in with cover still removed until up to level. Replace cover and with great care replace fastening clip, be gentle, I broke mine and had to fix it on with a large hoseclip.
Mine has a plastic button on the side of the filter housing as the primer pump, with the cover on pump away and get an assistant to start the vehicle, you will hear electric fuel pump clicking away, with the engine cranking keep pumping and it should fire up and keep running..... good luck.
