You need to give it a good run once a month on a motorway or main road with the revs above 2000 rpm for ten minute's to regenerate the FAP / DPF pain in the butt it has to be done the other way to do it is called a forced burn you need engine to be up to temp park on your drive or the road get the revs 2000 rpm hold it there for ten minute's people may think you've gone mad but that's the way it work's .

3000 rpm is the thick end of 80+mph in fifth gear. It'll be 2000 rpm as previously mentioned.

Just run it on 4th gear @120km/h (75 mph) on the motorway for 30 minutes every now and then. It has worked for me. My daily commute is like you describe, 5km to work, the motor hardly reaches 80°C temperature. But then twice a year I do 2700km round trips where I am almost always above 2000rpm during 2 consecutive days...

Buy Shell or BP & you won't need additives.Having said that,I still add Millers to my,mostly,Shell fills.

Interested in the just 12 months aspect ( not being nosey honest )

If just for 12 months then get a small cheap petrol car and flog it afterwards or use the wife's car perhaps ???

There is no way this will be good for any diesel vehicle, and the engine in question hates this kind of use.
I would change the car or remove the DPF personally.
You need one of these, I do 8 mile each way to work, it's amazing ?
