serpentine belt routing
#1
ok so serpentine/aux drive-belt/alternator belt/fan-belt snapped on Friday night haven't been able to get round to it but today got a belt gpk 1437 = wrong size:brickwall: so return it to the wholesalers and they apologise search my registration and give me a 1438 belt= still wont fit Sad what do these numbers actually mean ie is the belt 1438mm long ? and secondly could someone tell me where to get some routing diagrams for the belt just in case im not doing it right don't know also anyone kno if this is actually the right size of belt?

Diesel 1.9d non-turbo mkII 03 plate cant provide any more info

Help would be highly appreciated as its my daily driver thanks.

Thanks Everyone For Your help got the thing sorted turns out the belt should actually be a 6pk 1447 Not a 143-7/8!!!! but there we go amazingly it was a 6pk 1438 that came off and snapped must have been forced on right enough whoever had done it used something akin to a crowbar to force the damn thing on and mangled the idler pulley while they were at it so one (correct size) belt and new idler pulley later Sorted :woop:
