Hi All

So I had the dreaded anti pollution warning light at 43,000 miles on my 09 1.6 hdi.

After buying a code reader for 15 quid on ebay I received the code p0104 mass or volume air flow a circuit intermittent.

Here was the fix.

On the pipe leading from the air flow meter to the turbo is a small white clip that attaches to the oil catcher that is below the injectors on the front of the engine. It doesn't stay on very well. Especially if your mechanic can't be bothered to put it back on properly after an air filter change.

It's also a must to change the air filter again and I have secured said pipe better with the aid of a cable tie round the injector fuel pipe.

Bloody particular engine.

Nice bit of detective work. Thanks for the post.
