Hi all. I'm considering getting a berlingo around 2006 and putting a 2.2HDI engine in it. Does anyone know of anyone who has done this before? Any advice or input is welcome.

Why the hell would you? That 2.2 isn't the best engine in the world. They tend to seize the rear cam and break the belt.
The 2.0HDI is fairly bulletproof. Would be a backward step in my opinion. Plus you have all the hassle of ECU/ BSI/ Instument binnacle/ immobiliser all need to work with each other, all that for 20hp? why not *chip* the 2.0?
Is that a common fault with them? I was thinking of that engine as you can map them to 180bhp easily what engine would you suggest?
