I recently broke down and discovered that there was a plug disconnected which goes to the diesel pump, there was one wire which was directly connected to the pump (obviously a mechanic modification) which I believe is for the fuel cut off solenoid as the wire had broken in the terminal block, and was why the engine had stopped.
The van still starts OK with the plug connected or not, I have not tried driving anywhere yet as I only decided to re-connect the plug today.
I assume the plug was disconnected for a reason, i was just wondering if anybody would have any idea what the reason might be, or does it matter if the plug is disconnected?
