Alloys for 2006 mk2 - JAYJAYBEE - 28-10-2014
Hi all.
Im looking to get some alloys for my mk2 1.9 2006.
Ive been offered some which are from a citroen C5.
Does anyone know if they would fit ?
If not what do i need to look out for in regards to getting some alloys which fit my van.

If you feel like expanding your horizon on wheel choice, I've got a set of spacers that I want to sell that can get more wheels to fit. Just throwing it out there before I make a proper advert with pictures and price.

after some research ive found that things of importance are
bolts and spacing ie
4 x 108
and offset
15mm which has a compromise of around 7mm either way.
so am i right in saying even though alloys are listed as ford, peugeot etc they will fit my berlingo if 4 x 108 and within 7mm of the 15mm offset

That is correct yes, PCD, offset are the main measurements. However, you can run into trouble trying to fit OEM wheels from, say Ford as mentioned, because the middle bit is smaller (bore) and the wheel won't go over it to reach the bolt holes. This is where spacers come in not just for spacing wheels. What if the bore is bigger? That will work, people have done it, just remember the wheel will no longer ride on the center ring but rather on the bolts. Some people find that discouraging others don't care.

If the centre bore is bigger you get spigot ring to fill the gap if you bye new after market alloy's to fit your berlingo most come with the spigot ring's to suite so will not run on the bolt's a very bad thing to do your wheel's or the bolt's will fail and may kill you or some one else
