Broken glow plug - Ade - 31-12-2014

Hi,
Anyone removed a broken glow plug, got three out but the last one broke !!!. A bit annoying I must say.

Hi,
Is there any left sticking out? If so you can use something like Erwin bolt removers which grip what's left. They have a left hand type of thread.

Thanks for replying.
The whole plug is still there, if I pull the electrode out it would leave just a round bit, would these bolt removers grip on to this ?, it would basically be a very rounded bolt head,

Put some wd40 type stuff on so that it soaks into the threads overnight , try not to put it into engine. The thread tends to stick if they have not been out for a while.

Hi Ade,
Sorry for late reply - there have been problems with this site. This is the type of thing that may help if you cant get anything else on to grip it. Hover over the pictures to get a better idea how they work.
