In Praise of the Main Dealer pt.2 - andy-womble - 12-09-2011

Can't believe we've had the Berlingo for nearly 12 months and the warranty is running out in a months time.

Last time I visited the main dealer where we bought the vehicle from, I managed to retrospectively negotiate a free MOT for the next 10 years of ownership, which was the current offer at time of visit on used vehicled bought then, but not when I bought it a few months previously.

In my book, there ain't such a thing as a free lunch but I thought I would put it to the test and went back today for the MOT.
2 reasons,

1. It was allegedly free,
2. I was going to use this as a back up to the warranty for any issues found under MOT.

Vehicle was tested and ho-hum-here-we-go, it failed. The load-sensing valve had seized up and I was thinking "cash registers" and that I may have to dip into my considerably deep pockets.

I was pleasantly suprised that the valve had been freed off and lubed F.O.C., the vehicle had been washed and cleaned and yes, I got my free MOT Certificate.

Citroen Manchester (South) take a bow, you did me proud today thank you....:thumbsup::thumbsup:
