RE: Modutop rails - Luis Rosa - 30-09-2016

Although I share the same roof rails on my Pug partner, I never assembled them this way, even knowing it was possible...I had a PUG 307 SW station previously, and the roof bars I had for this one, also fit the Partner, so I used the old bars on top of the ones that are in the modutop, the assembly stays a bit higher in the end.

The roofbox connectors for the roofbox I have, hold on to the rails with big screw in metal fixation hooks, and from what I see from your picture, my roofbox (G3, http://www.g3spa.it/en/) would fit nicely with the roofbars mounted like you have them in the picture. In fact it will not matter if the roofbar is curved, as long as it is tightly fitting to the mount points.

I never tried taking skys though.
