Yet another new berlingo owner !!! - Jason_mk1multi - 26-11-2011 Hi all just found this site after just purchasing my first berlingo multispace have to say love the site loads of info and ideas which is allways good lol Recently got a 02 silver berlingo multispace 1.9d with only 104k on the clock only slight niggle with the car is the clutch is a bit on the heavy side so this is going to be replaced soon just for peace of mind if anything else , main reason for getting a multispace is im a very fanatical fisherman and rather then having a van i thought the multispace was more suited as i can get the kids in the back for the school run but with a quick fold up of the seats ive got more space then i could imagine lol my first mod was a new sound system as the the tape deck had to go so replaced witha sony head unit with full ipod control , and allso got a window tint kit (80% tint) just for the rear windows to give a little more privacy . i will post some pics up as soon as ive taken some as i know everyone loves a pic or two lol cheers jason  RE: Yet another new berlingo owner !!! - steve valentine - 26-11-2011 Heavy clutch is a characteristic of the old bus I'm afraid, I wouldn't go rushing to replace it. Welcome to the forum, at 104k, it's just run in! RE: Yet another new berlingo owner !!! - Andre - 26-11-2011 Welcome to the forum Jason, did you manage to retain use of the steering column remote with your aftermarket HU (if your has a steering remote). RE: Yet another new berlingo owner !!! - Jason_mk1multi - 26-11-2011 no steering remote unfortunatly but there is a interface thingy that you can get that retains steering remote functions . tbh im used to the clutch now but with trips to france next year and it been used for the daily commute im going to get it done just for peace of mind cheers for the welcomes |
