M59 or B9 - cancunia - 21-06-2019
I've been thinking about upsizing from my M59 to a B9 or maybe bigger to a Dispatch / Expert. I'm thinking that perhaps the B9 will be big enough & still be a car but saw some posts over the past few days where people have preferred the M59 to a B9.
So, I wondered what the M59 vs B9 views are specially from people that have owned or have experience of both?

I had a 2.0 HDi from mid July 2003 it was a Forte with all the trimmings, it was the first new car i had ever owned. I enjoyed it very much, apart from I never thought the brakes were that brilliant it always stopped fine but I felt it lacked something. I had it 9 years then chopped it in for my present Berlingo which I like lots. My 2.0 would return 50 mpg if I drove steady, this one I managed 60 mpg a few weeks back and I was very impressed. I know the new one is far more powerful and it is a pleasure to drive. I did prefer the side vision on the M59. Basically I would prefer the M59 body with all the running gear from the B9

I find the seat isn't as comfortable on my 65 B9 as was the M59.I tend to get cramp & have to stop for a walk.
