Hello - Pete - 24-01-2011

Found you guys about week ago, but I can't remember where or how, but I'm glad I did. Recently purhased and now totally in love with a 2008 HDI 90 XTR in Artic Steel. Father-in-law has had a Berlingo for about 5 years now and always spoke so highly of them, so when the above appeared on Citroens approved list a fortnight back, I just had to have it! Sadly I won't be able to help with any mechanical questions, I had to refer to the owners manual on my Renault Clio to find out where the water bottle was for the screen wash, but I did find that a bit quicker than I did the petrol cap on a Ford Consul I bought in late 80's...

Hi Pete and welcome ,My friend had an old ford I think it was a consul or maybe a Zodiac I remember it not having much in the way of seat belts if any and a bench seat in the front (three speed on the steering column) I only went out in it once with him he seemed amused by throwing it around the windiest road in devon and watching me sliding all over the place. regards Jamie

Hello Jimbo, sounds like a Consul, although I've never been inside Zodiac...but bench seats and no seat belts. I swopped a Morris Minor for the Consul, took it back after a couple of hours complaining that I couldn't get into fourth gearHuh
