Surfing on ebay - Tomcat3 - 22-04-2013

Hi all I was bored last night and you know how it is you get surfing on ebay and this popped up http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-54-CITROEN-BERLINGO-FACTORY-CONVERTED-CAMPER-CAMPERVAN-MOTORHOME-DAYVAN/251261193892?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D7136438723817761326%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D3%26sd%3D160495046949%26
Looks like a nice conversion but don`t think I want to be that close to a chemical toilet

OK where is the bed?? Bit suspect the small green writing that says "This campervan has been damage and expertly repaired in the past. It has received minor panel damage which has been professionally repaired. It is impossible to tell that this car has ever been damaged at all.
This repair has been done so spectacularly that it is impossible to tell that it was actually ever damaged in the first place. It is an absolutely perfect repair done by a professional garage with no expense spared. Any inspection is welcome to view these repairs and be stunned."

Handy having somewhere to sit while you cook your bacon and eggs  Don't scorch your sausage though

It looks a good quality camper convestion but the cassette bog is over the top. When I had my old VW camper I kept the organic toilet in a hedge about 20ft from where I parked. Big Grin

Read the ad text.

The passenger seat folds down to function as a bed for one, and the driver's seat folds most of the way down for a really uncomfortable night...

I've tried to sleep in the driver's seat of my own Berlingo. Not something I'd try again. In fact, I ended up crawling into the rear seat and curling up there instead. Sure, it being below freezing outside didn't help with the comfort, but no one of a normal size and shape can sleep in the driver's seat without needing very expensive work, over several sessions, by a 'backbreaker'...
(I only needed an hour or two of powernapping as I was on my way home from buying the car, driving from Oslo, via IKEA, Sweden for some shopping, and all the way to Molde. About 900Km, and with IKEA, it was getting very late... Really should have bought a couple of blankets at IKEA, though... )
