[but probably for parts] 1.8 Petrol, 96, 110k - very cheap - brislex - 24-04-2013

I've just switched to a 2.0Hdi so have got a 96 (V reg) 1.8 Berlingo up for sale. Has done 110k. Still runs fine, but rear brake pads and wheel cylinders will possibly need replacing before the MOT in October. Has been in daily use up until this week.

Looking for offers in excess of £200. You can drive it away, as the MOT is valid and everything critical still works. Good tires, and had a new exhaust 18 months ago. Has been serviced by local specialist each year.

The parts that aren't working:
The left rear light cluster is cracked and most of the plastic arms in the folding roof are broken. The roof is still watertight but you can see daylight from the inside. The noise is bearable at motorway speed. One small rip in the drivers seat.

Scratches as expected for age.

MOT til Oct 13, taxed until end of April.

PM me if you're interested in details. I'm in Bristol a short distance from Parson Street station.

Well worth the price.... even if you run it until the mot ran out and weighed it in you'd be quids in .... not that I'm advocating weighing it in of course rather its just a stark way of illustrating another way of thinking.

Good luck with the sale, should fly out of the door. Going by what you say a quick 70 / 80 quid will get it sorted.

A great basis for a mini camper project
(if I was younger and had more time and more money and more enthusiasm)

V reg is 99/00, my last car was V. 2001 is Y or 01 when the new system came in. For some reason they started changing them twice a year.

While prepping the van, found out the battery is marginal as well. With this in mind, it's not strictly a runner anymore, so I'm going to do down the line of SORNing and breaking for parts.
