New user - AlanHDI - 22-11-2013 Hey forum people. My name is alan, I bought a 2002 multi space 2.0 hdi a couple of weeks ago. I'm really enjoying driving it so far, but I have a long list of things that need attention. The biggest problem being that I broke the key a couple of days after getting it. Is getting a new key from Citroen the only way of getting a key? I priced it at my local citroen garage and they want £175 for a replacement remote key, which seems extortionate. Anyway glad to be part of the forum, seems pretty cool. Thanks Alan RE: New user - Tomcat3 - 22-11-2013 Hi Alan welcome to the forum as for the key have a search in your area for an auto locksmith they can usually supply a new key and program it cheaper than the manufacturers. Ive got it done on renaults vws and fords over the past few years. Just did a search and came up with this http://www.kslocks.co.uk/services/viewdetails.asp?ID=3 Never used them but could be a start. RE: New user - Jed Clampit - 22-11-2013 Hello Alan welcome to the forum go to a local key cutting shop that cuts car keys will cost around £50 RE: New user - AlanHDI - 22-11-2013 Thanks alot guys, had a search not too many places in northern Ireland will cut and program keys, but I think I have found somewhere. I'm gonna give them a try tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks again! |
