Hello from Northampton - simonminkey - 07-02-2014

Hi, I just purchase (today) a Citroen Berlingo Multispace, 1.9 diesel, 2004 from a local dealer. FSH and only done 55K miles.

Collect it next week and can't wait. Have owned other Citroen diesels in the past including a BX 1.7, 1.9, Xsara 1.9 and so on so know they're reliable and can go on for a long time.

Needed something with more room than my little Suzuki Jimny as am doing 500+ miles a week with my Sales job.

The dealer is fitting a new Cambelt, doing the Oil / Filter and giving it 12 months MOT etc.

Is there anything else I need to do like change the Coolant, Waterpump, Alternator Belt, Gearbox Oil and so on for preventative maintenance??

Any help would be much appreciated as I need it to be as reliable as possible!

Great, thx for that, hopefully they won't charge me too much for the water pump and gearbox oil change whilst it's already up on their workshop ramps etc!

Agree with Jed(reluctantly).Also make sure the valves haven't tightened up.As you are probably aware,it will cause starting probs. Good luck with it.Confusedalut::thumbsup:
