Probably little consolation but I just traded in my 2014 Bingo with a full MOT and the original tyres still on it - a bit thin now, but enough to pass the MOT. Had 37000 miles on the clock. No issue...

I have a Bingo & prior to that a Partner - great little cars for lugging stuff round. Must say though for 10 miles daily on forest tracks I'd use a mountain bike !. The Bingo would be barely war...

The mirrors although fab for seeing out of are a bit like sails in the wind - on my old Partner I used to fold them in on long motorway journeys and just look out the windows more - used to save ~5-8%...
