Yup - wiper arms off and the scuttle (mind the wee torx screws as well). The motor is on the right hand side and you will need to prise the linkage off the actual motor end - it is a push fit ball joi... |

problem solved - stripped the motor out and whilst the plastic gears were actually in very good condition, one of the electrical contacts was pitted. Cleaned it up, reset the spring tension and reasse... |
