Loss of engine noise.

Hi all,

Is it my imagination or am I gong deaf, but today when I was sitting at traffic lights I am sure that I could not hear the engine ticking over or any noise from the exhaust.

I put a whole bottle of Nulon fuel booster & engine cleaner in yesterday afternoon and now it seems the car is starting with a slight twist of the key, no noise from the exhaust, or engine.

Is this normal after adding an fuel additive?

I used a Teflon engine additive many years ago on another vehicle and the chap I shared a lift to work with remarked whilst going up the motorway how nice the engine sounded, smoother and quieter and had I done any work to it. He was unaware of the additive.
