Great thanks for that wasn't sure about the 75bhp being able to pull anything - been out looking at trailer tents all day!

Used to pull a caravan with a mk1 1,9 Berlingo and that was only 70BHP. Managed ok in Uk and France, just a bit slow on hills but would pull forever. You should have no worries with 75BHP.

Mines got that engine and it will pull ,well, shall we say
max gross weight up incredibly steep hills without a problem.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

The hp means feck all for towing with a diesel. Its about torque and gear ratios.
The old 2.4 non turbo transporters had no speed to them but would pull anything

How many Giraffes would that be then?cratch::whistle:
Did you see my observations on the Duster?
Its low bridges thats the issue
Didnt like the dacia then?
I knew it would be a lot less practical than these buses but I didnt think it would be that bad-did you get to drive one or just gave up at that point?
It is on my to do list.

I gave up.It's a case of getting what you pay for.
I suppose some people will like/buy it,but it's not for me.

Its the getting what you paid for bit that would attract me-I miss the simplicity of the C15,and Im dreading keeping the Hearse too long when the issues start appearing
I need to see for myself now especially if you're not convinced.....
It is on my to do list.
