Radio gaga....
#1
Hi all, hope someone can help with this.
I'm new to this forum, I was surprised to know it existed, but then the Berlingo is a popular car so I guess I shouldn't be!

Anyway, I have a '56 plate, and aside from the gearbox dying at 68k Sad , and the wishbones being replaced last month, it's generally been reliable for the 10k I've owned it. The 2ltr diesel engine pulls really well.

Anyhow, the guy who owned it before me put an aftermarket radio in, a real piece of junk. Luckily he left the original one with the car and I've put it back in.

However, it doesn't work, so I'm guessing needs a code or something. The bad news for me, is that the LCD panel above it in the dash, the bulbs have gone or something like that.....so I can't see anything. It's been like that since I got it.....and has been on my list to fix.

Any ideas, or are there any 'How-to's' on here for fitting the radio that I haven't spotted?

Thanks in advance!

Will

Welcome to the forum

The reason for the aftermarket junk is maybe the original didn't work?

Thanks guys. Pretty sure the radio does work, he said it did and there's no reason to disbelieve him.
I'll change those bulbs this weekend hopefully (can you walk into a dealer and buy that kind of thing?) and then see if there are any messages showing on it.
