lost key, bought used key, need help programing!

lost my remote key so I bought a used one off ebay having found that you can program them yourself.

I followed the instructions given in the How To section of this forum but it didn´t work. any other suggestions as how I can program this remote?

Its to an 04´ berlingo. the two button remote key that doesn't fold.

to give a better picture of the situation, i got an uncut key that i thought id move the microchip into after programing and having the key cut. i have a key that is original but not the remote key.

so I'm putting the original in the ignition and turning it to accessory position. then taking the unmatched remote key I'm trying a combination of holding the locking button down for ten seconds or pressing lock then unlock. then turning the ignition off and waiting 5 sec - 1 min and testing the remote function. it is not working, does anybody know why , or what to do?

i don't want to buy a new remote key from the dealer, here in sweden a replacement remote key costs 2600 krowns which is like 230 pounds. please help me!!
