well i got fed up with the seat killing my butt.ive read lots of people with the same problem and no one having any luck with finding something else to fit . so today i removed my seat and after removing the cover (took a while ) i covered all the foam base with a 1 1/2 inch layer of extra foam. i was going to use 1 in memory foam but ended up useing the thicker. after cutting the new foam to shape i used spray glue on both surfaces this stuck them together nicley. the hard bit was getting the cover back on with the extra thickness, there is 9 plastic clips on the base cover that need to go through the foam and clips on to metal bars that run under the foam base these took me ages to get back on . then it was just a matter of streching the cover back over the frame and replacing the metal clips under front and rear of seat base, what a wrestle. ive replaced the seat now and it looks to be good with much more padding to it. i havent had chance to try it yet but i hope it has done the job. all in all it took me around 4 1/2 hours to do . so to morrow ill find out if it was worth the trouble.
