I am pretty sure mine has continued running after switch off if it was already running.
I can't recall is coming on after switch off to my knowledge. |

If you're sure the level has dropped check to see whether the passenger footwell is damp i.e. the mat and underneath. The heater matrix's can weep. Not expensive for a new one (£30 ish) but a bit of a... |
