hey, just got a 54 plate but the remote key has the buttons missing, do I have to repace it with identical key or has anyone managed to 'tune' in and use a flip key?

cheers for any help Smile
There are firms on the net or ebay that can repair your remote if the buttons are damaged or you can get the micro switches and repair it yourself, or if its the case that's had it get another case like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-CAR-KEY-FO...43da6a70b2
But beware of the quality of some of the cases, you could go into a timpsons as I was in one the other day and they had citroen remote fobs hanging up but not sure if they will sell you just the case.

think my key is beyond repair, buttons missing and looks like one of the micro switches ripped of circuit board, think i'll look out for a used key and just use my imobiliser chip and key shaft,

cheers chris
The micro switches can be replaced its not to hard just need a steady hand and good eyesight lol.
If you don't fancy doing it there are plenty of companies who can do the job like http://www.autotronics.co.uk/cscart/remo...-en-2-3-4/
