Normally buy new for back and older back tyres go to front.
But would it make sense for him to put the evenly worn tyres on the front to make best for a wheel alignment?
I must have been exceptionally lucky in my last 12 years working as a Courier, as I have never had uneven tyre wear problems with any of the 5 Citroen vans that i've had in that time, and, as a Courier I travel enormous mileages. ie. I did 343,000 miles in 4 years with my last Berlingo L2 B9. I have owned 2 mark 2's, a Nemo for a year, then 2 B9's

I have been lucky to have been able to buy vans from new in every case, and have always checked my tyre pressures at least once a fortnight. I never brake when cornering nor smash the wheels up and down kerbs when parking. If I ever did get uneven tyre wear I'd check all the ball joints and other moving parts of the front suspension for wear eg. even the strut top swivel bearings, renewing parts where necessary, then I'd have the tracking checked by experts, NOT cowboys like Halfords Autocentres or Kwik Fit! It might even be something as simple as rust/crud trapped between wheel and hub, which is preventing the wheel from mounting true, and rotating properly on it's axis.

Have you experience or know anyone who has owned a mk3 berlingo because maybe there is mostly a problem with them.
Hi Madhouse, I had a '04 reg 1.9D, and a '56 reg 1.6 HDi (both old shape, Mark 2 and 3 I believe). The main problem with both these vans was front wheel bearing wear! I seemed to be constantly taking them to garages to have the front wheel bearings replaced (I covered about 185,000 miles in each of them). However, I have never had to buy a single new front wheel bearing for any of the 2 B9 (latest shape) Berlingos I've owned. I did 343,000 miles in the first, and my current '15 reg has done 105,000 miles with no noises coming from the front wheels (yet!).

You can recognise front wheel bearing wear, when it sounds like you have a propeller up front pulling your van down the road lol! If there is any weakness in the B9 front suspension setup it's weak coil springs. I had 2 break on my first B9, but never had any break on the mark 2 or 3 Berlingos I owned.

I came on this site because, you know when you have something wrong with yourself, the worst thing you can do is Google the symptoms because you end up thinking effing allsorts and thinking the worst, well I got this 13 reg van a couple of weeks ago and googled because of I noticed an unusual wear patern on the tyres on the outer rim of the rubber on the drivers side front and back and according to the searches I done it was doom and gloom most sites saying its a rubbish design from Citroen that they won't admit too that causes the van to eat rubber on the outer edges front and back tyres unusually fast saying I will be forking out for tyres less than 20k on all four corners at once, obviously a bit worried so I decided to join this site to speak to the lads and lasses who actually drive the same mk as me day in day out to understand to see if there is anything in it?
I have not had the van long enough to know if the wear patern is unusual as the previous owner could of swapped the tyres around,
so basicaly I need to renew when these I have got in are shot, then drive around on the new set for a few miles to get the suspension to settle and then get the wheele trims off and take it in for laser realignment take note of th settings and then drive it round enjoying life keeping an eye on tire pressure and see if it solves the problem.
What is the correct tire pressure for 195/65r15 berlingo van running mostly empty, I don't have a sticker in the door
Spoke to Cit garage about tyre pressure monitors as I am considering going for new 100bhp Feel with 5 steel wheels. Was told that current model has tpms that works off abs & not sensors in tyres so all 5 wheels can be swapped around but I shall verify that this is the case before I buy.

It's odd how times change, I have always given my spare as much attention as the rest of my tyres & in the rare event of a puncture I am back on the road in less than half hour but it does appear these days many drivers don't know where their spare is or even if they have one.
Have a read of this months Car Mechanics as there is an article all about the different types of tpms and how they work what they cost and the problems associated with coding them.

Are you sure you don't?  It just looks like a load of numbers, and the figures are in Bar, not PSI.  It gives unloaded and fully loaded.  I just keep mine at the fully loaded pressure all the time and it seems fine to me.  Mine's on the pillar inside the door, not the door itself.

Thanks pal found it ??
The question marks were ment to me thumbs up
