Im trying to find out what the small grey plastic pipe is for on the top right hand side of a 2.0 HDI engine as it looks a little flat.

It's a vacuum pipe that supplies the solenoids that do egr or turbo boost depending on where the end of the pipe goes to

And as I bet you know, a bit flat, on a vacuum pipe, ain't a good thing.
