I have  '57 1.4 Petrol Berlingo that I've had for a good number of years, recently however some low life nicked my keys and then the van and tools in it!

Fortunately it was recovered pretty sharpish but has been in storage for approx 2 months.

Since getting it back it has developed a starting issue, sometimes when the key is inserted it seems that dash lights etc come on but there is none of the normal engine bay noises (fuel pump?) and it'll spin over but not catch.

Other times all is as normal and it fires up and quite often will run for a good period of time and then cut out as if no fuel.....

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
First check you battery. Sitting for 2 months is not good.

For startup issue problem can be in key immo.

For cutting out after starting probably CKP sensor (crankshaft position sensor)

It would be nice to have some diagnostic codes.
