I have a Citroen Berlingo Van its just gone for its first service but prior to taking it I was giving it a clean, as I only use this for my personal use it never does any work.
I noticed that all the seat frames are starting to rust, and the brake and clutch linkage and steering rack rod is also covered in rust.

Evans and Hallshaw who I purchased this van from Brand new 1 year ago said it is nothing just monitor this.

I beg to differ and told them I want answers and now waiting.

any one had this issue ??
Sounds strange to me. I've had mine for almost 7 years now and no sign of rust anywhere. Sounds like they're giving you a line of BS. Too, if it's only a year old it's still under warranty.
I'd go bluddy mad,
that's not acceptable in any way, a brand new van going rusty in a year !
tell them you want a replacement, obviously something wrong, best of luck mate.
PS,
My van is 15 years old, & not a spot of rust,
don't let them mug you off.
keep us informed what happens,
I would be asking the dealer was this van ever parked in a flood or water damage in some way and get them to put there answers in writing. Can you take off the door carpet trims to look underneath to see if there is any rusting off the floorpan. No vehicle a year old should have rust on it unless it has sat submerged in water or faulty manufacturing. Back to the dealer for me and kick arse to get the truth what they had done to the van before you received it.
I take it no rust on the actual Chassis?

I've got nothing like this on mine that's approaching its 3rd birthday - this sounds very unusual.

the van has never had anything in it  reference to building or corrosive material .
I would not take to long to get an answer on this or they will say that it is caused by something you have done.
Hi peg my van is now 9 years old with no rust what so ever inside the only rust i have is on the rear axle and front subframe although this is only surface rust. O forgot bloody wheel studs rusted within the first 12 months. Dealer said sorry sir they all do that!

print off the answers you have had on this forum and present it to the dealer.
