I am about to investigate a puzzling power steering problem and wanted to get some power steering fluid in preparation. It looks like it needs a change anyway.
How much fluid do I need for a complete exchange?
I think 1 Litre should be enough. I bought a spare litre just in case but still have some of the original after a couple of goes at getting the fluid out of the reservoir. It's not particularly expensive so 2 litres should be plenty to allow a flush through.
You haven't mentioned your particular problem so may I suggest you check the column UJ?They dry out & stiffen up.
