On the Multispace they fit into slots in the inner roof reinforcement panels left and right, which are accessed via small plastic doors in the rear headliner. Its possible that the panels are common between Multispace and van and hence the rails would fit.
The rails are a little expensive for what they are and people on this forum have made their own, using anything from broomsticks to extending shower rails.

I used two extendable clothes poles from B&M. Had to modify the end that attached to washing line. Works perfectly for storing long garden tools.

I will have a play around with some ply and see if I can make something.
Was hoping to keep little steps, spirit levels etc out of the way.
