Full Version: No Pollen Filter

So I serviced the van today (love how easy it is to do oil, fuel and air filter) and I thought I'd do the pollen filter for the first time. I found the tutorial on here and off I went...

I removed the plastic cover and that's as far as I got! All I can see is the fan!

Any ideas?!
Doesn't have a pollen filter?
That's what I'm thinking....

Surely it wasn't an "option" to have one?

If your vehicle has air conditioning I would have thought that it should have one?
No aircon = no pollen filter.

Ah all cleared up then. I did search but didn't get too far.

Wow 9 years later if it wasn’t for this post Id of thought I was going mad. just serviced my 1.9d no aircon model and there’s no cabin filter ?  just a big space behind the glove box ? 
To say I’m surprised is an understatement but I’m also relieved that somebody hadn’t pinched it previously..
