Right, I've done a search for this, honestly I have, and all I could find was discussions about the merits of LED bulbs...

Anyway...

The right-hand rear stop/tail light on my Mk2 has gone, so I'm guessing it will just be the bulb... how do I get to the bulb to check it/replace it?

The only thing I can see is one black plastic wingnut type affair, is that all it is? surely Citroen can't have made it that easy?? :lol:
Oh yes they did.

There is an old post about this Andy Womble constructed a special tool to remove said wing nut - the rest of us use needle nose pliers
:eek::eek::eek: surely you jest!! :eek::eek::eek:

so it's just ONE wingnut? Big Grin

I did try and move it by hand, and guess what? it was stuck fast.
I'll attack it with the Plusgas and pliers tomorrow thenSmile

now wait for the "I've broken my rear light cluster" thread :lol::lol:
We have more faith in you than that.I want to read "what a pleasant job that was". If Coco says it's easy,it must be.

Too quick for me O.J.
i undone mine with a pair of pliers end on. very easy job i was surprised too. give the lugs that touch the bulb a quick clean with a small screwdriver when your at it (with every thing turned off ) as this was my problem on one side.

What is?:thumbsup:
There should be two clips on the outer side of the light clusters, these are frequently broken off, but if yours are still present try disengaging these clips by sliding a credit card between the body and the light cluster and push against them..
