Hi all, I have a 2003 multispace 1.6 16v petrol with air con, I have taken my car to the garage and they were able to confirm that a whine that has been annoying me for a while is in fact my air con pump, I have looked on fleabay and can't find any pumps for berlingos, I'm wondering if perhaps the ones from perhaps a c3 or a 307 1.6 would fit? I don't use the air con but the whine is too annoying to live with any longer!! Any help would appreciated! Many thanks
Can you take the pump off and fit a shorter belt if you don't need aircon ? Check the make of pump and you may find it is used on other makes of car as well as other engines. A lot have common stud spacing and just fit a different pulley and clutch.

That's awesome, thanks! Btw I think for the meantime as we are coming into winter I will just whack a shorter belt on for now, does anyone know what length is required, there seems to be 2 sizes either 1550mm or 1200mm I assume its the smaller one of the 2 and could I just whack it on? Cheers
Measure it with a piece of string round the pulleys, it should get you close with a bit allowed for adjustment.
