Hi Guys

I have ordered a code reader but really bugging me so want to pick your brains......my 2006 2.0 hdi drives perfectly, but twice now when on full throttle (overtaking) I feel some hesitation, then the amber engine light comes on, and wont rev above 3000rpm. It you stop for 30 seconds the light is out and van drives fine. Seems to be brought on by full throttle, maybe overboosting? or intercooler hose sucking in (if there is an intercooler??) anybody had this?? Smile
I wouldn't know if mine was in limp mode or not. Confusedcratch:

I rarely rev past 3k, at 2.5k I'm doing 70mph on the motorway.
A question for "Lighty" I'd say. Possible culprits off the top of my head could include the brake pedal switch, swirl valve actuator, wastegate solenoid, blocked cat, crank or cam angle sensors.

Lexia or Diagbox gives the most tractable code reading situation as you can also look at live data for greater insight - however they're also the most expensive.
