When taking away forwards or reversing uphill the clutch on my semi-auto Airdream stinks. Similar to slipping clutch ?
cratch:
Does it smell like burning money?
Dunno- can't afford to burn money to find out. Lol.
Its not your brake caliper?
Never thought of that, thanks- will get it checked. It does smell more like a slipping clutch, but you never know.
Citroen dealer took it for test drive- no noise / smell or signs of car stuttering.
They told me that the clutch is covered by warrany for only six months as its a wear and tear item. 6 months !!!!!!,. But mine is an Auto, therefore I feel I cannot be accused of misuse , riding the clutch pedal etc.
Got diagnostics test done and ecu update, so heres hoping.
Well, that feeling of hope was short-lived, reversed up a steep incline and burning smell returned accompanied by a screeching noise.

Typical :justno:
reply from Citroen.............looks like no more Citroen's for me, then.
Citroen are going the wrong way about their customer service regarding warranty work. As many taxi and PH drivers buy the Berlingo because they give a massive luggage space, interior space and the sliding doors. Like myself and other drivers I would have to think twice if I would buy another simply because Citroen don't want to know about warranty work.
