Well actually I was on the chain-ferry crossing Cowes Harbour and in the motor in front of me was Dame Helen McArthur, didn't have time to get a piccy or autograph though.

Met Jonny Smith (motoring journo, Fifth Gear presenter, etc) on Sunday at Santa Pod.Cool
What a thoroughly bloody nice chap!
He was surrounded by people taking no notice of him and watching the racing, slightly incognito (bit scruffy, actually...)
You know me; walked straight up to him and started chatting.
He talked about Drag Racing, Fifth Gear and the Shanghai Motor Show he had just returned from.
Top bloke, down to earth and not full of himself.

Which famous people have you met?Confusedcratch:
Glad you did?
Or wished you hadn't? Confusedillyme:

Dish the dirt...!

Been mates with Jonny since before his TV days, he's a really nice bloke, and genuinely in it for the passion, not for the fame or money [although he's getting his fair share of both these days].

I once went to a leaving party at the home of a couple that were emigrating to Australia. During the BBQ, a familar face appear, Julian Rhind-Tutt, who starred alongside Stephen Mangan in 'The Green Wing' and thereafter the short run of Barclaycard adverts. He's also had bit parts in Bond films, Notting Hill and Tomb Raider.

Thoroughly nice fella, never once mentioned his job and introduced himself to people as 'Hi, I'm Julian', never presuming anyone would know who he was.
Bloke in a beanie hat came into our local bike shop last year and bought an old Honda 4 off my friend. His signature on the receipt, Keith Flint. He didn't start any fires though.
Certainly on a roll this week, met Tim Blake in Stoke town centre today.
Rock star from the early 70's with space rock band Gong and solo artiste with his own material. Now playing with Hawkwind, on tour in the UK.
i've met too many to mention through work best one delivered a landrover to none other than Rodney Trotter (Nicholas Lyndhurst)
With the rich and famous again yesterday...... At an equestrian stud farm in Malpas, Cheshire.

Met and got a photo I had taken last year of British Eventing champion Oliver Townend autographed,
Met Nina Barbour, showjumper and joint owner of Harthill Stud.
Tour around one of Britain's prestigious stud farms and viewed the creme de la creme of showjumping/Dressage/eventing and possibly race horses.
Sat next to Michael Owen (Stoke City and England International Footballer) in the hospitality suite.....

On the way, stopped off at the wrong place on the narrow country lane..... another equestrian facility with loads of posh wow-factor buildings, land and gallops for horses. Didn't realise til we got home and looked on the net that this was Micheal Owen's racing stable....

Exciting day and all free, including buffet lunch....
