Our Berlingo has factory fitted mudflaps front and rear. They are good quality but the clamps that attach them to the car have just about had it. I could replace the flaps fairly cheaply with after market ones, but there's nothing wrong with the flaps themselves. Does anyone know whether the clamps are available separately, or has anyone made replacement clamps themselves please?
Think might be what your looking for. Look the same.
Thanks for your replies gents. Having had a look at things today there seems to be different fastenings front and back. The back ones have two metal clamps on each flap, while the front ones have a similar looking metal clamp and a plastic clip of the type in Hardnut's link. The metal clamps may be a simple squashed 'U' shape with one leg drilled and tapped for what looks like an Allen grubscrew. Might be able to make one but mild steel will rust pretty quickly. Maybe stainless strip even but it's hard to bend. I did take a pic of the rear one but it's pretty rubbishy.
Had wondered how the rear attached, as remember looking at mud flaps when I got the car. But could only get front ones for mine. Not rear which would of made it look odd. 2011 xtr

I replaced the inner arch bolts on my previous car with stainless, it had a line of four of them up the back edge. It worked really well, but it looked like it was crystal-studded afterwards!
When my 2014 VTR auto had its 3 year service & MOT last week I had the Citroen dealer fit front & rear flaps. By the sound of it, the fittings will probably see me out as far as driving goes.
That's if it escapes the diesel scrappage business for long enough. It's emissions 5 so I'm hopeful of a few years ahead.
