Cedrics poorly!
Got a Romahome Duo based on a 2000 1.9d Berlingo.
I'm pretty sure that the thrust bearing is giving up. He's screeching in the bell housing at rest but dipping the clutch helps and he's quiet out on the road.
I've never done a Berlingo clutch before (last transverse I did was a 1300 Allegro YEARS ago!, so any advise would be most welcome. Nightmare job?...........not too bad?..........specialised tools?
I've sourced a Valeo clutch kit at carparts4you but they don't seem to do the fork but I can get one of those from Eurocarparts. Any other parts it would be advisable to do whilst he's stripped down?
Thankfully, I'll be working with a fairly clued up mate and we have a set of ramps which will help with elbow room.
Pretty sure mine has the BE3 box because I've been underneath and on the end of the casing is a stamp.........."XU30 BE3".
Thanks pips
