Berlingo Chip Tuning
#1
Hey guys!

I'm searching for a good Chip tuning company for my berlingo.

Which one do you prefer or can someone recommend me a good one?

On my search i found Maxchip.de which looks really nice. Has someone ordered than and can tell me something more about this german company?

Why not a remap? a remap should give better value.

I got mine remapped but it only gave me an extra 25HP so I feel it wasn't worthwhile. I only done this due to towing my holiday caravan but it didn't make any real difference, It also costs me up to 10 MPH in fuel economy. I'm getting an average of 40mph just now but used to get 48 to 50 in my daily commute to work which is a real measure for me.

I'm thinking the same thing, I'd like a bit of extra oomph when climbing a slope, though the 1.6 in the B9 is not too shabby even at 75bhp. For that reason and the high price of a remap
I've bought a used Bluespark HDi tuning box. I know it only puts the fuel pressure up a bit but if it gives the manufacturer's claimed 22bhp I'll be well chuffed as I only paid £40 for it. If it's crap, I'll just take it off again. If it starts putting too much soot in the dpf I might also bin it but I can monitor that with Lexia. I only do less than 5k miles a year so even that may not be an issue.
